Statistical Analysis of Indoor Radio Propagation Channel Characteristics at 60GHz - Project Report (EE381V) -

چکیده

The results of statistical analysis of the 60GHz indoor radio propagation channel data collected in 13 different indoor environments are presented. Major outcomes of the analysis are as follows: i) The Root Mean Square (RMS) delay spread values observed range between 3 and 23ns and show a good normal fit. A clear dependence between the rms delay spread values and the transmitter–receiver separation distance are not observed. ii) Coherence bandwidths when the frequency correlation function is above 90% are in the range between 2 and 180MHz for Line of Sight (LOS) case and between 2 and 24MHz for Non–LOS (NLOS). iii) The large-scale path loss exponent values of both LOS and NLOS cases are close to the value in free space.
